Quality

Every panel is built to EN/IEC 61439, tested by a person who did not build it, and can be traced by its serial number.

Standard: EN/IEC 61439-1/-2

EN/IEC 61439 is the standard for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. It asks for two kinds of checks:

  • Design verification. Proof that the design of the panel is safe: temperature rise, short-circuit strength, clearances and creepage distances, protective circuit.
  • Routine verification. Checks on every single panel before it leaves the production.

For you this means: the design is verified, and the panel you receive has been tested, not only a sample.

What we test on every panel

  • Visual inspection
  • Wiring check
  • Protective circuit continuity
  • Insulation resistance
  • Dielectric test
  • Functional test

Independent test inspector

Testing is done by a person who did not build the panel.

What you get

With every panel you receive:

  • Test report
  • Declaration of conformity (CE)
  • Wiring diagram
  • Bill of materials
  • Serial number on the panel

Traceability

Every panel has a serial number in the format SPS-YY-NNNN-III:

Part Meaning Example
SPS Smart Power Solutions SPS
YY year of the order 26 = 2026
NNNN order number 0036
III item in the order 001 = first panel

Example: SPS-26-0036-001 is the first panel of order 36 from 2026. With this number we find the test report, the wiring diagram and the bill of materials of the panel.
